ePayments provides a secure environment for your customers to make bill payments using their credit card either online, via your call centre or via an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system.

This payment solution is ideal for councils, Government departments and utility companies looking for a cost-effective suite of services designed to reduce security issues and the administrative costs of accepting bill payments from customers using a credit card.

How It Works

Integrated With Your Website

A standard feature of the ePayments platform is a hosted (and branded) payment page that can be easily imbedded in your website via a hyperlink. The service allows your customers to validate their account information by using the same account or invoice number contained on your standard invoices. The hosted payment page allows you to take advantage of EFTPOS New Zealand's secure environment whilst ensuring there are minimal changes required to your internal payment systems.

Call Centre Integration

ePayments can also be configured for call centre and administration type payments. It provides any (authorised) operator with access to an Internet based point of sale function. This can be extended to any desktop with Internet access allowing over the phone payments to be made quickly and efficiently.

A full audit trail of operator-initiated payments is also provided as a standard feature of the service.

Branded Payment Screens

The hosted credit card payment pages can be customised to include your businesses logo, and other branding elements.

Online Reporting And Administration Functions

ePayments provides you with a secure web interface to quickly and efficiently view, manage and reconcile transactions. A comprehensive reporting module gives clear visibility of funds collected and reports can be automatically delivered by email as Adobe Acrobat PDF, Microsoft Excel, or CSV text files.

Customer Account Validation

Account validation allows you to upload a file of customer reference numbers into ePayments such as invoice or account numbers. When your customers make payments they can enter their reference number giving them and you the assurance they are paying the correct bill.

Access Control

Access to the administration area of ePayments can be controlled allowing only authorised users to perform specific functions - such as performing refunds.
