Snapper is a new contactless payment solution designed for low value convenience type purchases like coffees, newspapers and travel on inner city transport. 

Exclusive to EFTPOS New Zealand, Snapper comes in the form of a reloadable pay-as-you-go card or USB stick and can store up to $300 in value.

Modelled on similar cards in London, Hong Kong and Tokyo, Snapper is a fast and secure method of receiving and processing payments. You don't need to swipe Snapper, customers tap it on a contactless Snapper Card Reader which deducts the purchase amount speeding up the sales process.

If you accept Snapper cards, they can be reloaded in your store with debit (EFTPOS) cards or cash. Reloading with Credit Card must be done online at www.snapper.co.nz. You pay a small transaction fee for accepting Snapper payments.
