How It Works
ANZ eGate™ Server Hosted
With the Server Hosted option, your online store is linked to an ANZ eGate™ secure payment page. When a customer has decided on their purchase and is ready to pay, they are re-directed from your website to the ANZ eGate™ secure payment environment. Once the payment is completed they are redirected back to your site.
ANZ eGate™ Merchant Hosted + Authentication
With the Merchant Hosted + Authentication option the entire payment process is managed from within your website. This provides a seamless payment experience for your customers as they don't need to be redirected to a secure payment page hosted by us.
Your customer experiences the entire buying process, from shopping cart - to payment - to confirmation of payment, without leaving your website. Your website sends the information to ANZ eGate™ for authorisation via the ANZ eGate™ Payment Client software. The Merchant Hosted + Authentication option supports Verified by Visa (VbV) and MasterCard SecureCode online authentication.
Using the Merchant Hosted + Authentication option means that you need to manage the encryption and secure transmission of payment details. You need to be aware that:
- You have sole responsibility for the security of cardholder details and adhering to the Card Scheme Rules and Regulations
- You will need to create and maintain your own secure environments
What You Need
To integrate both the ANZ eGateTM Server Hosted and Merchant Hosted + Authentication options with your website you will need the relevant ANZ eGateTM software and integration guidelines. Access to these guidelines is arranged when you set-up your ANZ eGateTM facility. The information can be sent to you or supplied to your web developer.
